At Nectar, our wine list follows the same philosophy as our food and cocktails.
Every wine has a purpose.
Rather than offering multiple bottles that compete with one another, our list is designed so that each wine stands on its own, pairing naturally with different styles of food. These pairings are not always written on the menu, but they are carefully considered when the list is built.
The result is a wine selection that encourages exploration and conversation, whether you are choosing a glass to accompany a small plate or a bottle to shape the entire meal.

Red Wines: Structure, Balance and Versatility
Our red wines vary in weight and character, offering options that work across vegetables, cheese, fish and meat.
Wide River Shiraz
This Shiraz is often surprising. On the nose, it appears heavier, with clear notes of oak and depth. On the palate, however, it drinks lighter than expected, making it approachable and balanced.
It is a wine that works well when you want richness without intensity, pairing comfortably with a wide range of dishes rather than dominating them.

Montepulciano Castelvecchio
A classic Italian red and an essential part of any well-rounded wine list.
Full-bodied and structured, Montepulciano brings depth and warmth, making it an excellent match for darker meats and richer flavours. It anchors the red section of our list and offers a sense of familiarity for guests looking for something reliable and expressive.

Malbec
Our Malbec is French in style, lighter than many expect but still full of character.
It has richness and length, with enough structure to feel serious, while remaining easy to drink. This balance makes it particularly versatile, suitable both on its own and alongside food that benefits from a wine with presence but not heaviness.

Pinot Noir
This is the team’s favourite among the reds.
Lighter and more delicate than many people expect, our Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with dishes that sit between richness and freshness. It works especially well with cheese filo pastry or grilled halloumi, where its subtlety allows both the wine and the food to shine.
White Wines: Freshness, Texture and Character
Our white wines focus on clarity, balance and structure, each chosen to suit a different style of dish.
Vermentino Zagare
Bright and citrus-driven, Vermentino is crisp, dry and ripe.
It pairs effortlessly with salads and lighter dishes, cutting through freshness without overpowering delicate flavours. It is a wine that feels clean and uplifting, ideal for relaxed dining.
Viña Salort Albariño
A recent addition to the menu and an immediate guest favourite.
Mineral, fresh and extremely easy to drink, this Albariño pairs perfectly with prawns and seafood-based dishes. It is often the bottle that disappears quickest at the table, thanks to its balance and drinkability.

Assyrtiko Sauvignon Blanc
Assyrtiko is the flagship white grape of Greece, and this expression sits proudly on our list.
Known for its purity and structure, Assyrtiko can sometimes form small crystals on the cork, a natural sign of high quality. It pairs exceptionally well with both our vegetarian and meat platters, making it one of the most versatile whites we offer.
Icare Chardonnay
Our flagship white wine and a staff favourite.
Buttery, smooth and rounded, this Chardonnay brings richness without heaviness. It pairs beautifully with the pan-fried sea bass, complementing the dish’s texture and depth. This is Eirini’s favourite wine, and one that reflects the comforting, elegant side of the list.
Rosé and Sparkling Wines: Balance and Celebration
While reds and whites form the core of the list, our rosé and sparkling wines are chosen with the same intent.
Rosé offers freshness and versatility, working well across small plates and shared dishes. Sparkling wines bring lift and elegance, ideal for aperitif moments or marking the start of a meal.
Each bottle has its place, and none exist simply to fill space.
A Wine List Built Around the Table
What makes our wine list special is not the number of bottles, but the clarity of purpose behind each one.
Every wine is chosen to complement a different style of food, encouraging guests to explore combinations that suit their table rather than following fixed rules. It is a list designed for sharing, conversation and discovery.
If you are unsure where to start, our team will always be happy to guide you. Sometimes the best pairing is the one you had not planned.
